Donald W. Leicht, 86, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Morningside Health Center.
Donald was born March 24, 1926 in Sheboygan to William and Edna Leicht.
He attended local Sheboygan schools and was a graduate of Sheboygan Central High School, class of 1944.
On June 28, 1947 Donald and Lurielle Mais were united in marriage at Ebenezer United Church of Christ.
Donald served his country in the United States Navy and was stationed in the Philippines.
He was employed at R-Way for over 42 years until retirement.

He attended local Sheboygan schools and was a graduate of Sheboygan Central High School, class of 1944.

Donnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his involvement in the Dart Ball Team at Ebenezer United Church of Christ.
Donald is survived by three daughters, Deborah (Joseph) Garski, Dawn (James) Race and Denise (Michael) Cesar; two grandchildren, Ryan (Melissa) and Tyler Monte; and two great-grandchildren, Annabelle and Annika Monte; a sister-in-law, Carol Leicht; and many nieces, nephews, and relatives.
In addition to his wife, Lurielle, Donnie is preceded in death by his parents; a sister Charlotte (Edward) Zimmer and a brother, Thomas Leicht.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 15, 2012 at 11:30 am at Ballhorn Chapels and Crematory. Rev. Dr. Roger J. Mealiff of Ebenezer United Church of Christ will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in Donnie's name for "Laundry Love".
Donnie's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caregivers at Morningside Health Center and Karen from Heartland Hospice for the care and compassion shown to him.
